Axemusic.com is proud to announce the Grand Prize Winner of the Canadian Radiostar songwriting contest – Calgary band “The Villains”, who claimed the Grand Prize and were chosen over all of the other regional winners at Canadian Music Week in Toronto just 3 weeks ago.

In addition to a substantial cash prize, recording time at one of Canada’s premier recording studios, and other prizes, the band also received a home studio package supplied by www.axemusic.com in association with Omnimedia Canada, the distributor of Samson Audio, and Zoom Products for Canada. The band received a complete home studio system with everything needed for professional quality home recording including a 16-track Zoom digital recorder, Samson Professional studio monitors, Zoom RFX2200 Digital Effects processor and more.
